It only takes a dead 3 year old…

bebe syrien mort

The world has been rocked by the image of the 3-year-old Syrian refugee who washed up on shore in a failed attempt to escape the barbaric warfare that’s enveloped Syria.

While regular people are saddened and shocked, not only by the boy’s death, but the greater tragedy it symbolises, it also opened the door to anonymous separatists showing us once again, more clearly than ever what drives their movement.

If you’re already upset at the story, you might want to hold off on reading the comments below, which  will no doubt enrage you.

For years, separatists have tried to argue that their movement is not rooted in hatred, isolationism, racism and ignorance.

For years they’ve tried arguing that their movement has legitimacy.

After reading the comments below, you’ll see more clearly than ever, once and for all what Quebec’s separatists are all about:

Next time a separatist tries to convince you that the movement is open in spirit and that they want Quebec to be its own country on account that it’s more ‘about the people’ you can show them these comments.

  1. Couillard says we can take “hundreds of thousands” into Quebec – if we think things are bad now, wait. We have no jobs for them, the people of Quebec can’t even live alongside those of us that have more things in common with them by far and just what are we to do with these people. There should be a good deal of fallout from this decision by Couillard – Quebec is for Quebecoise – how many times as an anglophone have I heard that?
